Select the construction before selecting a colour

An eye-and-eye sling has a defined eye at each end of a flat woven body. The eye shape, available eye opening and bearing surface must suit the lifting connection. Buyers comparing flat eye web slings or polyester lifting slings should specify the same ply count, effective length and rated configuration in every quotation. A heavier-looking strap or a wider body is not a substitute for the labelled working load limit.

Prepare a comparable lifting-sling quotation

Send the required working load limit, effective working length, lifting arrangement and contact surfaces together. A product name or colour alone does not identify a rated sling. State the destination market, required identification and documents, sample quantity and production quantity. Where a drawing controls the purchase, include the eye dimensions, webbing width and any protection. JILI reviews the configuration before issuing a quotation; the written offer identifies the supplied construction, marking, packing, lead time and applicable documents. The lift must be assessed separately using the accepted product instructions and competent lifting practice.

Can I request a custom length and label?

Which certificate will be supplied?
