Endless construction and purchasing information
An endless web sling differs from an eye-and-eye sling in both its shape and connection arrangement. The continuous loop has a joined webbing section and no separate sewn eye openings. Specify the required working length and explain how that length has been measured; loop circumference and the stretched working length must not be confused. Send a photograph or drawing when replacing an existing assembly. The selected width and ply count should be tied to a catalogue model or an agreed custom specification, not inferred from the colour.
Prepare a comparable lifting-sling quotation
Send the required working load limit, effective working length, lifting arrangement and contact surfaces together. A product name or colour alone does not identify a rated sling. State the destination market, required identification and documents, sample quantity and production quantity. Where a drawing controls the purchase, include the eye dimensions, webbing width and any protection. JILI reviews the configuration before issuing a quotation; the written offer identifies the supplied construction, marking, packing, lead time and applicable documents. The lift must be assessed separately using the accepted product instructions and competent lifting practice.

Does the colour establish the permitted load?
No. Use the identification on the supplied sling and the accepted model documentation. Colour assists identification but cannot establish the rating, condition or suitability of a sling by itself.
Can I request a custom length and label?
Include your required effective length, label content and quantity in the RFQ. The quotation confirms the available construction, sample requirement and marking for that order.
Which certificate will be supplied?
Request the documents for the exact construction and model. Certificates shown for flat woven webbing slings do not automatically cover round slings, complete multi-leg assemblies or every custom configuration.
