Match the complete assembly to the purchase brief

An enquiry for lifting slings with hooks needs more information than the individual strap rating. Provide the number and position of attachment points, the available lifting connection and the required leg lengths. Include a load drawing where practical. The master link, textile legs and lower fittings must be identified together in the accepted specification. Two assemblies that look alike may have different ratings or limitations. The catalogue photographs show available product arrangements; they do not establish the rating of a custom assembly or guarantee compatibility with an existing hook.

Prepare a comparable lifting-sling quotation

Send the required working load limit, effective working length, lifting arrangement and contact surfaces together. A product name or colour alone does not identify a rated sling. State the destination market, required identification and documents, sample quantity and production quantity. Where a drawing controls the purchase, include the eye dimensions, webbing width and any protection.
